If I’m not in the studio you’ll find me… walking my new Goldendoodle puppy, Colby, on the Comm. Ave mall. We spend a lot of time out there. But during the day, you can find me at the Puma office doing Digital Marketing.
If I’m not in spandex and cycling shoes… I guess I’m wearing a pair of jeans, scarf and a sweater. But, let’s be honest, the vast majority of my wardrobe consists of lululemon (it’s a serious problem!)
My favorite drink on a night out… I’m not a huge drinker, but when I do, I’d say a nice glass of Pinot Noir. Normally, it’s a glass of soda water, no ice and a lime.
If I had to make a single artist playlist… right now, it would be Rihanna or Pitbull. But really any and all Hip Hop/Rap. I was on my high school and college dance teams and developed a deep-rooted love for Hip Hop and Rap. It just makes me want to dance!
If I had to pick a favorite move… Definitely isolations in second position. There’s nothing better than feeling that burn!
My favorite pre-workout snack… Wheat toast with creamy all-natural Skippy peanut butter. I pretty much live on peanut butter. I don’t go a day without it.
My goal for my rides… is to make you feel like today’s ride was harder than yesterday’s. So much of spinning is about how hard you challenge yourself and I hope my rides can inspire you to push yourself a little harder every time. I played competitive soccer my whole life, and after I graduated from Bowdoin where I played for four years, I felt empty without it. I have found that spinning/teaching at Recycle fills that void and reminds me of the intense and satisfying workouts I used to have each and every day. Believe it or not, my experience on the field can translate onto the bike to provide a similar type of experience.
My goal for myself… is to work hard, stay humble and smile. But I am all about setting several goals for myself and doing whatever it takes to achieve them … it is the best way to live your life!
Quote I live by… “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye.”
Best advice I’ve gotten… “Be on time and do the right thing”… the wise words told to me every day by my college soccer coach. It has never steered me wrong.
